Storage.Newborn Blood Banking offers storage of whole blood, blood that is not spun down or washed to only contain stem cells. Because the cells are handled less, they are more viable. Almost all other cord blood banks reduce the cells to economize freezing space and keep equipment costs down. Studies show significant loss of progenitor cells with cell reduction methods. At this time, Newborn Blood Banking is storing cord blood for current customers only. We are not currently accepting new customers. |
